NF
Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30, 1991, is an American artist and rapper. He is known as his initials NF, which can be spelled IF. Two EPs have been released: I'm FREE (2012) [3and an EP with a self-titled title by Capitol CMG in 2014. The first album by a major label, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. The second studio album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016, and peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200. The albums have earned him numerous awards, such as the Gospel Music Association Dove Award (Therapy Session) for Rap/Hip Hop Albums of the Year. Perception reached number one in the United States in 2017, and its third single, "Let You down" made it to number 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the United States and was also a top 10 worldwide chart hit. The Search, his sequel to the hit album, was also a commercial hit. Feuerstein stated that rap was the only way to escape from life in his early years. He would record songs using a karaoke machine, recording instrumentals on one microphone and his raps on the other. Feuerstein independently released Moments the album that was the first of his studio album on November 29th 2010. The first single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. The track featured songwriter and producer Tommee Profitt and Brooke Griffith. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and became fascinated by his music. On May 2, 2012, Feuerstein released his debut extended play , I'm Free, with production work from Profitt. The tracklist featured nine songs including "Alone". The album featured the exclusive version of Sean Simmonds of "Alone". Xist announced that NF was coming out however Feuerstein quit the label over an argument. NF production was postponed. NF was accompanied by a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams on the compilation album of the label, Move Vol 1 On November 4 in 2013, he debuted the single "Beautiful Addiction". Profitt was heard on the track, and also the vocals of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
