Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her acting career when she was a young girl, just after moving to the United States. Her most well-known work is her appearances on AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (from). Commercial appearances weren't the only thing she did. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had a recurring role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. After being featured in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents fled antisemitism at the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. She began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five because of her family's financial problems. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she quit and obtained a GED. She continued to get an undergraduate degree in Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned the art of improv comedy.
